Delete your Nooks account

You can delete your Nooks account and its data at any time, from the Android app or the web app.

Delete it from the app

1. Open Nooks (Android app or nooks.lol) and sign in.
2. Tap your profile picture in the top right corner.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm with Delete account.

Deletion is immediate and can't be undone.

Request it by email

If you can't access the app, email alex.schneider.ing@gmail.com from the address of your Google account, with the subject "Delete my Nooks account". We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by email.

What is deleted

• Your profile: name, email, username and profile photo
• All places, tags, ratings, comments and photos on your map
• Who you follow, your followers, follow requests, map edit permissions and blocks
• Your notes on places in shared maps, and your membership of those maps
• Your push notification tokens
• Your sign-in account

What is kept

Places and photos you added to a shared map stay with the other members of that map, because they belong to the group. If you were the only member, the shared map is deleted too. Reports you sent about other users or places are kept for moderation. We don't keep any other copy of your data.
